A comprehensive community needs assessment, called the Community Profile, is conducted every two years to ensure that funding is directed to non-duplicative programs that address the specific unmet breast health needs of people living in Eastern Tennessee.
The Knoxville Affiliate supports local nonprofits through the Community Grant Program and Small Grant Program. These grants have a tremendous impact on our community. Frequently, the Knoxville Affiliate is the primary source of local funding for breast health programs.
Applications for the 2008 Community Grant Program are now being accepted. Inquiries regarding Komen Community Grants should be directed to the Knoxville Affiliate by calling (865) 588.0902.
