Race for the Cure® Team Information
Make this years Race for the Cure a team event! We're in the fight against breast cancer with hopefully a cure on the horizon and your team can be a vital part in making it all happen! Register as a team and come out to the Knoxville Race for the Cure. Join in a fun and worthy activity while enjoying the comrade of friends, family, co-workers, etc. The Knoxville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure is grateful for all who participate and raise funds that support our mission. Together your team can make a difference in the life of a breast cancer patient in East Tennessee. This difference can be seen in the form of raising awareness of the disease and the importance of early detection in the lives of so many.

Ways to Register:
Teams can utilize online registration, mail-in registration or a combination of both. If team members register online, there is NO need to mail-in duplicate paper registration.
Online Registration: Make registration and fundraising easy by registering your team online this year with our new and improved system. It's safe, secure and easy to register and obtain online pledges simply by sending out emails to your family, friends, co-workers, etc.
Captains,you can easily manage your team including recruiting new members and emailing existing members. You and your team can fundraise together for a common goal as well as individually to achieve personal goals. This new tool keeps track of it all!! While registering, choose the option of creating a team and you will automatically be assigned as the team captain!
Team members (non Captains), please choose the option of joining a team while registering online. All pledges collected will automatically be included in your team account and will also be included under your personal account.
Mail-in Registration:
If using mail in registration for EARLY BIRD, then mail ALL registrants forms, and fees together before the Early Bird Deadline of September 6, 2010. You may also send forms up until October 12, 2010, but they will need to be using the full regular registration price. Mail forms to:

Important Deadlines:
- September 6: Early Bird Deadline
- October 12: Mail-In Registration Postmark Deadline
- October 16: Online Registration Deadline for your T-shirt to be mailed free of charge *IF YOU MISS THIS DEADLINE YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR SHIRT AT THE MALL OR RACE DAY. NO SHIRTS WILL BE MAILED AFTER THIS DEADLINE.
- October 28: Online Registration Deadline
- October 30: RACE DAY!
- November 8: Last day to submit mail-in donations to qualify for prizes
- November 15: Last day to submit online donations to qualify for prizes
Opportunities For Recognition:
Individual Donation Program
Incentive level prizes begin at just $250. When online fundraising closes following the race, qualifying fundraisers will be notified of their prize level category and will be directed to select their prize. All prizes will be mailed to the address listed on the registration. Remember, you can mail in donations through November 8, 2010.

We will be awarding Team Fundraising Awards
Teams will be divided into number of team members: Small (10-30), Medium (31-75), Large (76-100), and Extra Large (151+). Within these categories, prizes will be awarded based on the per person dollar amount raised.
Team Photos:
NEW THIS YEAR! Instead of a Scheduled team photo time, there will be 6 "BOPPSpots" around the Expo Site. So come out early and have your picture taken in from of your favorite backdrop located around the Expo Site. You can view and order your race day photos online after the Race at www.boppspot.com.
